Curls without heat

Yesterday I washed my hair and I wanted to curl it, but I don't have a curling iron, and I'm terribly bad at curling with flat iron, so I chose the longer but always perfect sock bun technique. Yeah. "Always."
Well, you can see the result with your own eyes that it doesn't look so well. My hair got much more volume instead of beautiful curls.

It's sad, but heey, it can also happen easily with you, so that's why I decided to show you these awful pictures and to write a post about hair curling without heat. I recommend you this technique if you don't have a curling iron or a flat iron, OR you're just suck with both of them. (If you're not then I'm really jealous of you, and maybe some day I'll write a post for you, too.)

Basically, there are a lot of techniques how to curl your hair with a long sleep, it only depends on your imagination. But I show you now 4 of them:

1. SOCK BUN

Please don't follow my example! If you have straight hair, in addition it's thin, then make a sock bun from your wet hair (not soaking wet, just a little bit wet) to the top of your head, pin it, if it's needed, and sleep in it. In the morning the bottom of your hair will be beautifully curly.

2. RAGS

With this method you can also curl only the bottom of your hair. You need some rags or whole socks, and you have to roll your hair to them.

3. KNOTS

This one is also easy, you only have to separate your hair, twist it, and pin it to your head as a knot.

4. HAIRBAND

I think I love this one the most. You only need a strong hairband and to twist your hair around it as you can see in the picture. It's not only a sleeping style, but you can also wear your hair in this way on the street, on the beach, or on a date, because it's quite romantic, I think.

One day I managed to curl my hair with a hairband (but a stronger one, not with that around my head):

Of course, the result also depends on your type of hair, so don't be sad if one technique doesn't work, try out as many as you can!

Happy curling! :)

Never-ending learning

Soo, here's my first post! I thought I would start with a normal post about my everyday life. At the moment, I'm learning for my very last high school exams, as they're called here in Hungary, my school-leaving exams. Thanks God, the written parts are done, but the oral parts are still before me, and they're going to take place on the 17th June's week. Yeah, it seems like it's so so far away, but looking at my timetables it's really not! I'm scared of running out of time. But I must have some hope, and I do, so no fears, no excuses, no more web surfing, just keep going on!

Good luck all of my fellow sufferers! ;)
